Construction has been completed to restore a mile of Butano Creek to hold back 150,000 tons of sediment, restore 100 acres of floodplain for endangered species, and be part of the solution for steelhead trout and Coho salmon to thrive once again in the watershed. Many thanks to our stalwart partner on this project, Peninsula Open Space Trust. POST really went above and beyond. And thanks also to the funders: Department of Water Resources, US Fish and Wildlife Service, and USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service.
