The San Mateo Resource Conservation District (RCD) is seeking an experienced contractor to implement a 239.7 acre shaded fuel break in and around the community of La Honda, CA. This project encompasses approximately 118.4 acres of mechanical mastication and 121.3 acres of handwork. Understory vegetation less than 8” diameter will generally be cut by hand or masticated, chipped on site and broadcast back into treatment areas, or lopped and scattered.
A mandatory pre-bid tour will be held at the project site. Attendance is required for all firms submitting proposals.
