The San Mateo Resource Conservation District (RCD) welcomes contractors to bid on the Pescadero Marsh Habitat Restoration and Resiliency Project (Project) to restore the ecological, geomorphic, and hydraulic processes in the North Marsh North Pond (NMNP) and improve habitat for native fish and wildlife. The project is located Pescadero, California.
The RCD in partnership with the California Department of Parks and Recreation designed this Project to achieve a broad range of habitat, resiliency, and water quality benefits for the Pescadero marsh and lagoon system. Project activities include 1) culvert removal in three locations, (2) excavation and lowering of main levee and low levee, (3) channel and ditch filling with excavated material from the main levee, low levee and the beach borrow area, (4) installation of four unique structure types for a total of thirty-eight wood structures, (5) vegetation management and removal- including eucalyptus thinning and removal, iceplant and other non-natives removal, as well as disturbed footprint revegetation, (6) submitting the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) application materials and reporting, and SWPPP compliance.
A mandatory pre-bid tour will be held at the Project site. Attendance is required for all bidders. RSVPs for the pre-bid tour are required.

Where: At the project site, located at the Pescadero Lagoon North Marsh and North Pond, on California Department of Parks and Recreation property, in Pescadero, CA (driving and parking directions will be provided upon RSVP).
