The San Mateo Resource Conservation District (RCD), in partnership with San Mateo County Parks Department, welcomes contractors to bid on the San Mateo County Parks Water Distribution and Infrastructure Project (Project).
The Project is located in Memorial County Park, approximately 7 miles east of the town of Pescadero. The purpose of this request for bids is to select a contractor to improve instream flow conditions for sensitive species and improve water security for Memorial Park, especially during years of drought. The project aims to replace three outdated pipelines within the Memorial Park water system: the mainline that connects the water storage facility with the water treatment plant, the Sequoia Flat Campground (SFC) pipeline, and the Wurr Road (WR) Pipeline. In order to achieve the goals of the project for this site, implementation actions will include: (1) replacement of the mainline, SFC, and WR pipelines via horizontal directional drilling; (2) removal of spoils materials; (3) reconnecting the new pipelines to the existing system; and (4) winterizing the site.

A mandatory bid tour will be held on October 22, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Attendance is required for all contractors submitting bids. RSVP for the bid tour by 9:00 a.m. on October 21, 2021 to stephanie@sanmateorcd.org to receive bid tour information.
